Alaskan at Last!

A former lower 48'er loving semi-rural life at 62 degrees north latitude…

Low Sun, Long Shadows

Low Sun, Long Shadows

This image was taken from East Barge Drive looking south across Question Lake; what makes it interesting is it was taken exactly at noon on Sunday, December 1, 2013. Notice the low angle of the sun and the long shadows; this is still three weeks from the Winter Solstice and we are still losing over four minutes of daylight each day.
