Qanuk Traversing 16

Sometimes ya just gotta do lots of leaping to get around as Qanuk discovered while exploring the frozen pond just east of our place. Anana was much smarter – she’s in the background – and just waited for him to carve a path through the snow; then she followed in his tracks.  I’m sure she was thinking: “Ahhh, the energy of youth..!”
