Anana enjoying some all too rare snowfall in SE Michigan last winter. As is part of her breed she adores snow and is happiest during exactly what she is doing in this image; relaxing in snow and letting it cover her. I’ve seen her lie in snow until she’s almost completely covered. In addition I’ve seen her ‘snow jacket’ remain intact for hours; nothing speaks more of the incredible insulating capability of that double layer Malamute coat!  Although she is a bit over four years of age and weighs in at 128 pounds she will always be my ‘little girl’…
